More information about water-based screen printing ink from Sumiprint
Textile ink with high elasticity and fastness.
Ideal for personalising dark and light garments such as polo shirts, sweatshirts, backpacks, caps, and bags.
It offers good resistance against the cracking effect that appears when the area covered by the dry ink is bent.
It penetrates and blends with the fabric, allowing it to permeate and thus allowing the garment to breathe.
It comes ready to use without the need for additional products. Just stir with a spatula and apply with a Shore 60-65A squeegee.
Bonds to the garment when cured.
Suitable for meshes between 32 and 55 threads per centimetre. You can mix it with the Acuaprint 120EF clear base to create a semi-opaque ink that you can apply on high weft meshes (120 threads per centimetre).
Soft feel. It blends directly into the fabric and feels like a part of it.
Good fastness to washing and stretching.
THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND
Although they provide good coverage, we recommend printing the colours on top of a white underbase when working with dark garments. This way, the colour of the t-shirt won’t interfere with the print.
Testing is recommended to ensure that the results and settings are what you are looking for.
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR STORAGE AND HANDLING
Store in a cool place, temperature below 32ºC, away from direct or indirect heat sources.
Moisten the mesh to prevent clogging in high-temperature conditions.
Add 10-20% of Acuaprint 120EF per kilo of white to help keep the screen dry longer.
Keep the container closed.
After air drying, apply heat to ensure that the ink adheres perfectly to the fabric.
