Our Heat Presses and Ovens for Sublimation
- The heat presses are essential machines for personalising items using sublimation, DTF, transfer, heat transfer vinyl, DTG, and more. They apply heat and pressure for a set time to transfer the design onto the item you wish to personalise. They are also useful for curing inks in screen printing and preparing DTF film.
- The sublimation ovens also provide heat and pressure, but with hot air and/or vacuum pressure. Thanks to this feature, you can make transfers onto non-flat items such as mobile phone cases, plates, vases, and fully personalise bottles, flasks, tumblers, mugs, and more.
→ WHICH ONE TO CHOOSE?
To choose the machine that best suits your needs, you should ask yourself the following questions:
·What type of items do I want to personalise? If they are flat products, you should choose a heat press, but if they are non-flat items, you should opt for a sublimation oven. Bear in mind that there are also special heat presses for personalising mugs, caps, balls, shin pads, etc., or combo presses that allow you to mark objects with different characteristics.
·What size are the products I want to personalise? The dimensions of the item will determine the print area and, therefore, the size of the press plate or the type of oven. Most presses are available in different sizes, but if you are unsure which to choose, we recommend larger heat plates. This way, you can personalise larger products or several at once, optimising your working time.
·What is my budget? Investing in a heat press is a good option as, as mentioned before, you can use it for several personalisation techniques. We recommend that, if you are looking for maximum productivity and convenience, you choose a press with automatic opening and closing and a control panel with a digital display.
→ TYPES OF PRESSES AND OVENS AVAILABLE AT BRILDOR
·Sandwich presses: This type of press, with a design similar to a sandwich maker, is the most common, as it includes the most affordable models. These machines take up little space and are easy to use and maintain. Some models feature automatic opening systems for greater precision and productivity. Most models have digital time and temperature controls, with analogue controls on the most economical models.
·Swing-away presses: These allow you to move the heat plate by swinging it to one side. This system provides more comfort and safety, as it completely clears the base plate when removing and placing products. In addition, some models have automatic opening systems that increase precision and productivity. When purchasing this type of heat press, you should consider your workspace, as it requires more space than a sandwich type.
·Vertical presses: With a vertical opening system for the heat plate. The base plate moves outwards or to the sides, depending on the model. Most pneumatic presses are found in this section, which are very useful for high production volumes. In addition, their plate sizes are larger, allowing you to personalise bigger products. Note that there are models with two base plates, which doubles productivity.
·Mug presses: Specially designed for personalising the surface of mugs, jugs, bottles, tumblers, etc. using techniques such as sublimation, DTF, vinyl, or transfer. The vast majority take up very little space and have heating elements of various sizes available, so you can personalise both cylindrical and conical objects of different diameters and heights.
·Cap presses: Similar to the sandwich type, the main feature of cap presses is that they have curved plates that adapt to the shape of caps and hats. In addition, thanks to their low energy consumption and fast heating, you can make small prints on textiles or other flexible materials that fit the shape of the plates.
·Special presses: These have a unique size and shape and are designed for specific uses such as personalising balls, shin pads, skateboards, etc.
·Combo presses: A versatile solution for starting a personalisation business, especially for sublimation. They offer packs with different heating elements so you can personalise items of various shapes with a single press: flat, curved, cylindrical, and even trainers. Therefore, with a small investment, these combo presses allow you to print on almost any type of product.
·Large format presses: In this section you will find presses with plates measuring over 1 metre. They are very useful for personalising large items such as flags, towels, photo panels, large size t-shirts, etc. They are also a very interesting option for companies with high production levels, as you can personalise many items at the same time, thus reducing production times.
·Sublimation ovens: You will need an oven if you want to personalise all types of rigid items by sublimation, regardless of their shape, such as mobile phone cases, plates, vases, irregular photo frames. Ovens also allow you to create full personalisations on bottles, flasks, or tumblers. At Brildor, we have several models of ovens for small and medium-sized items as well as large capacity ovens.
