How to choose the perfect T-shirt for your customisation
Selecting the right T-shirt is key to achieving professional and efficient results. At Brildor, we provide all the information you need on each product page to help you choose according to technique, fabric, and intended use.
- Type of fabric and customisation technique
Polyester: ideal for sublimation, available as 100% polyester T-shirts or blends with elastane, viscose, or spandex. This fabric ensures vibrant colours and even transfers. It is compatible with most customisation techniques, especially DTF, as long as the fabric is not elastic.
Cotton: perfect for customising with DTF, heat transfer vinyl, DTG, screen printing, transfer, embroidery, rhinestones or with alternative sublimation techniques. The versatility of this fabric allows almost any technique to be applied with high-quality results, except sublimation.
√ Select the fabric according to the technique you are going to use and the final result you want to achieve.
√ If you want to start customising T-shirts with sublimation or DTF, request our printing services. Your designs will be returned printed on sublimation paper or film, ready to transfer with a heat press:

2. Models
Most of our customisable T-shirt models are unisex. For sizing reasons, only women's and children's models are distinguished.
Technical T-shirts: for sports, physical activity, and functional garments that require breathability and fit. They are made from lightweight, flexible, durable, and quick-drying fabrics that can be customised by sublimation without losing comfort.
Classic T-shirts: the timeless basic, available in polyester and cotton fabrics. Perfect for everyday wear, personalised gifts, merchandising campaigns, urban clothing lines... whatever you want, they never disappoint. Their popularity and demand allow us to offer them at competitive prices.
Whether classic or technical, in our catalogue you will find T-shirts: with straps or short sleeves, long sleeves or raglan. Available with crew neck or V-neck, fitted or straight cut.
√ Choose the style preferred by your customers. Consider the season, functionality, the event they are required for, etc.
3. Colours
In addition to classic white T-shirts, you can also find in our catalogue T-shirts in different colours (single colour and two-tone), even fluorescent ones.
√ Consider the contrast between the T-shirt colour and the design to achieve maximum visibility.
4.Sizes
Each product page includes approximate measurements per size, due to the variations inherent in manufacturing.
√ Check the size guide before ordering to avoid mistakes and returns.
5. Weight
The fabric weight affects the durability, finish, and transparency of the T-shirt.
Low weight (130-149 g/m²): very thin, lightweight, and breathable T-shirts. Not suitable for heavy customisation techniques such as embroidery or thick heat transfer vinyl. More recommended for sublimation or screen printing with water-based inks.
Medium weight (150–169 g/m²): this is the market standard. Customisable with almost all techniques, especially screen printing, direct to garment printing (DTG), and cut heat transfer vinyl.
High weight (170-190 g/m²): premium quality T-shirts, with thick and dense fabric that supports any customisation technique, even the heavy ones. They can withstand textures and reliefs: rhinestones, embroidery, screen printing with plastisol, DTF, transfer, sublimation, etc.
√ Bear in mind the fabric weight of the T-shirt according to the customisation technique you are going to apply
6. Prices
Although we offer a wide range of prices, basic T-shirts for customisation are the most economical.
√ Cheaper does not mean lower quality. As these are basic T-shirts, their high demand allows us to offer them at a more competitive price.
