THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND

  • It is recommended to use a 6-10 oz Mug Heater for Mug Presses.
  • This water bottle can be sublimated in a sublimation oven, either with a wrap, a silicone sheet or heat shrink bags.
  • In Related Products, you will find some accessories that you can use for heat-press or oven sublimation.
  • Because of the bottle irregular shape, printing its whole white area can be tricky and requires a lot of expertise. In particular, the neck part can be hard to print when using images with a dark background or great detail. For it to be easier and to obtain better results, it is recommended to only sublimate the bottle's cylindrical body.

Recommended instructions and parameters for sublimation printing

WITH A MUG HEAT PRESS

  • Print the design in mirror image.
  • Preheat the press to 200°C.
  • Remove the cap from the bottle.
  • Place the bottle in the press with the paper's printed side against it. Fix with heat resistant tape.
  • Press for 35 seconds, medium pressure
  • Using a protective glove, remove the newly printed bottle.
  • Remove the paper carefully.

WITH A SUBLIMATION OVEN

  • Print the design in mirror image.
  • Preheat the press to 180-200°C.
  • Remove the cap from the bottle.
  • Hold the paper's printed side against the bottle and fix it with heat resistant tape.
  • Place and adjust the wrap around it, or insert it in a heat shrink bag and create a vacuum with a heat gun. You can also use a silicone sheet.
  • Sublimate in the oven for 6-7 minutes.
  • Using a protective glove, remove the wrap, the silicone sheet, or the bag, depending on the accessories you used.
  • Carefully remove the paper from the bottle.
