MAXIMUM MOULDABLE AREA

  • The rectangle in the attached image represents the maximum usable area of each mould
  • Measure the mould and make sure it is smaller or the same size as the maximum mouldable area of your sheet
  • Benefit from the versatility of the wave and double wave moulds. They can be used to mould not only sheets with the same size of the mouldable area but also smaller sheets by placing them on one of the mould curvatures
  • Some usage examples:
    • You can use the entire surface of the Ref. 049698 mould to shape a 31 x 21 cm sheet or use it with a 19.5 x 21 cm sheet by using one of the curvatures of the mould
    • The Ref. 049706 mould can be used with a 13 x 30 cm sheet and give it a concave or convex shape, depending on the wave in which you place it

THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND

  • If you customise the sheet, first sublimate it and then mould it
  • Excess heat could deform the sheet

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

  • Heat the acrylic sheet. In case of sublimation, place it immediately on the mould after printing it
  • Protect the acrylic sheet with silicone paper
  • With the help of a protective glove, manually adapt the panel to the mould
  • Remove the sheet and let it cool

Due to the different types of acrylic materials available on the market, we cannot provide heat temperatures. We recommend testing beforehand.
