INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE OF THE BADGE MACHINE EVOLUTION
STEP 1: MOULD ASSEMBLY
Each mould consists of 3 parts. Identify and separate Part A, Part B and Top Part
Place the Top Part on the machine
Ensure that the fixing pin of the Top Part aligns with the hole in the machine
Place Part A in the slot marked “A” and Part B in the slot marked “B”
The positioning pins of Parts A and B must be placed inside the machine
STEP 2: BADGE ASSEMBLY
Place the badge frontin Part A of the mould with the sharp edge facing down. Then place the printed paper which you will have previously cut with a craft knife or a die, and the clear protective film of the badge
Rotate the base until the Top Part is aligned with Part A. Hold the badge machine with one hand, push the lever all the way down and then guide it back up
Place the badge back of the badge (pin, magnet, keyring, ...) in Part B of the mould, with the sharp edge facing up
Try to align the Top Part of the mould with the positioning pin to ensure correct orientation. To make pin badges with metal backs and magnetic badges, it is necessary to insert one or two gaskets in Part B (depending on the badge thickness). These gaskets or washers are supplied with the moulds that require them
Rotate the machine base until the Top Part meets Part B. Push the lever all the way down and then guide it back up
Rotate the machine base again and remove the finished badge
RECOMMENDATIONS
When changing the Top Part of the mould, remove it by pressing downwards. Take care not to drop it onto your fingers or hand
Do not place your fingers between the Top Part and the lower part (Part A or B) of the mould. They could be pinched by an involuntary action of the machine
