DESCRIPTION

SUBLI Up Patch is a heat-adhesive sublimable polyester fabric (white) for textile transfer on light and dark fabrics.

• Sublimable on the textured fabric side
• The support or liner is an adhesive polyester film
• Manufactured in Germany by Poli-Tape

THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND

• For small composite designs, it may be convenient to use a carrier to facilitate the application of the vinyl. In such cases, it is recommended to use the Poli-Tack 854 or Poli-Tack 850 carrier, see Related Products
• If using a carrier, note that being polyester, some ink may remain due to resublimation. To avoid this, we recommend a short press (2-3 seconds), remove the carrier from the vinyl, and finish pressing
• After printing the vinyl with sublimation ink, it should be left to dry. It can be transferred to the garment when the ink is dry to the touch
• It should be printed using cut marks to be able to cut it with the plotter
• For very small designs, we recommend using SubliTex

TRANSFER PARAMETERS

• Temperature: 190 ºC
• Pressure: low
• Time: 30 seconds

TRANSFER PARAMETERS FOR HEAT-SENSITIVE FABRICS

• Temperature:
  • 190 ºC (ink activation)
    
  • 160 ºC (transfer)
• Pressure: 2.5-3.0 bar [medium pressure]
• Time:
  • 30 seconds (ink activation)
    
  • 15 seconds (transfer)

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

• Print the design directly onto the vinyl in direct mode
• Let the ink dry
• When the ink is dry to the touch, remove the excess vinyl (weeding operation)
• If using a carrier, adhere it to the vinyl with the help of a spatula
• Heat the press to 190 ºC
• Place the garment on the press and pre-press for 4-5 seconds to remove wrinkles and moisture from the fabric
• Peel the vinyl from its backing and place it on the garment
• Press with low pressure for 30 seconds

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR HEAT-SENSITIVE FABRICS

• Print the design directly onto the vinyl in direct mode
• Remove the excess vinyl (weeding operation)
• If using a carrier, adhere it to the vinyl with the help of a spatula
• Heat the press to 190 ºC
• Place the vinyl on the press and put protective paper on top
• Press with low pressure for 30 seconds
• Place the garment on the press and pre-press for 4-5 seconds to remove wrinkles and moisture from the fabric
• Peel the vinyl from its backing and place it on the garment
• Place protective paper
• Press at 160 ºC with medium pressure for 15 seconds

WASH RESISTANCE

• Wash resistance: max. 40ºC
• Wash the garment inside out
• Use only colour detergent
