DESCRIPTION

• The design is printed with a laser on the surface where the foil is to be applied. When the foil is placed over the design and laminated, the toner melts and the foil adheres to it
• In Related Products, you will find a laminating machine to apply this foil
• It can be applied to materials such as paper, cardstock, printable vinyl, acetate, plastic sheets, vellum...
• Wide range of Minc foil: opaque white and shiny metallic colours, gradients, and holographics
• Comes rolled on a cardboard core or tube for placement in a roll holder
• Presented in a transparent plastic box with a hole for hanging on a display

THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND

• The foil must be completely smooth, without wrinkles, to ensure good transfer. It must also cover the entire design to be reproduced to avoid untransferred areas
• Generally, reactive foil is applied with toner. An alternative method is mist, which does not require a laser printer or other toner-containing resources, available in our Related Products (Ref. 044924). It can also be applied with special glue found in Related Products
• The design must be printed with a laser printer for the foil to adhere

TIPS AND ADVICE

• Print an adhesive vinyl with a laser and transfer the foil to create stickers or die-cuts
• Create wedding invitation cards. Apply the foil and use a bone folder or similar tool to make the central fold
• Design beautiful covers and punch holes in them with a puncher to place them in notebooks, diaries, or wherever you wish

MEASUREMENTS

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

• Print the design in black with a laser printer on the material where you want to transfer the foil
• Cut the foil to the size of the design and ensure it covers the entire surface
• Place the foil over the printed design with the metallic colour side facing up
• Insert them into the plastic carrier folder and close it. Smooth out wrinkles and ensure the design is completely covered by the foil
• Feed the folder into the front slot of the laminator until it makes contact with the rollers
• Wait for the folder to exit through the rear slot
• Remove the material with the foil from the folder and peel off the foil sheet to check the final result
