RECOMMENDED SUBLIMATION INSTRUCTIONS AND PARAMETERS

Parameters provided as a guideline. They may vary due to many factors such as the paper used, inks, or ambient temperature. For this reason, it is recommended to carry out tests.

WITH A MUG HEAT PRESS

  • Print the design in mirror image
  • Preheat the press to 200ºC
  • Hold the paper's printed side against the mug and fix it with heat-resistant tape
  • Press for 180 seconds, medium-heavy pressure
  • Remove the newly printed mug using a protective glove
  • Carefully peel off the paper

WITH A SUBLIMATION OVEN

  • Print the design in mirror image
  • Preheat the press to 200ºC
  • Hold the paper's printed side against the mug and fix it with heat-resistant tape
  • Adjust the clamp, or place the mug in a heat shrink bag and heat it with a heat gun. Make sure you get rid of all the wrinkles. You can also use a silicone sheet
  • Sublimate inside the oven for 15 minutes
  • Using a protective glove, remove the wrap, the silicone sheet, or the bag, depending on the accessory you used
  • Carefully peel off the paper from the mug
