THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND
- The seam of the pennant where the rod is placed does not withstand high temperatures. To avoid melting when sublimating the flag, this part should not be in contact with the press’ lower platen.
- If not already done, remember removing the plastic stick from the flag before sublimation.
Recommended instructions and parameters for sublimation printing
- Print the design in mirror image.
- Preheat the press to 200ºC
- Remove the rod from the hand flag.
- Place the flag on the bottom plate of the iron and the printed design on the flag.
- Fix it with heat-resistant tape so it doesn’t move.
- Press for 45 seconds, medium-heavy pressure.
- Open the press and remove the newly printed flag with a protective glove,
- Remove the paper carefully.
- Repeat the same process on the other side if you want to sublimate it.
