RECOMMENDED INSTRUCTIONS AND PARAMETERS FOR SUBLIMATION PRINTING
Parameters provided as a guideline. It is recommended to carry out preliminary tests in order to make the necessary adjustments before starting production.
WITH A HEAT PRESS
- Print the design in mirror image
- Preheat the press with a 6-9oz latte mug heating element to 200 ºC
- Hold the paper's printed side against the container and fix it with heat-resistant tape
- Close the press at a medium-high pressure for 180 seconds
- Remove the newly printed container using a protective glove
- Peel off the paper carefully
WITH A SUBLIMATION OVEN
- Print the design in mirror image
- Preheat the sublimation oven to 180 ºC
- Hold the paper's printed side against the container and fix it with heat-resistant tape
- Place a sublimation oven wrap or a silicone sheet around the container, or use a heat shrink bag to create a vacuum
- Place the container in the oven for 13-15 minutes
- Remove the container using a protective glove at the end of the process
- Peel off the paper carefully
