DESCRIPTION
- Placed over the fabric. They keep the long fibres beneath the embroidery
- Designed to dissolve in water. Immerse the embroidery or spray water on them and remove with a brush
- Disappear completely. Perfect for lace embroideries and terry fabrics like towels
- Available in various formats: transparent plastic film of 30 g/m2 or white soluble paper of 40 g/m2
- Plastic films dissolve in cold water and the paper dissolves in lukewarm water at 20 °C
- If any residue remains, it will be removed in the first wash
- You will find the interfacing sample in Related Products
THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND
- Avoid leaving interfacing residues. They could harden on the fabric
- Each interfacing requires a different dissolution temperature
- They are sensitive to moisture. It is recommended to store them in sealed bags
- Some embroidery designs may be completely incompatible with the fabric, it is advisable to conduct prior tests
TIPS AND ADVICE
- After dissolving the interfacing, ensure the fabric is thoroughly dried
- Use soluble paper for embroideries that require more support
- When working with lace and soluble paper, consider using an embroidery design with a high stitch density
- For very delicate fabrics, consider using an additional interfacing beneath the soluble interfacing to provide greater stability during embroidery
