DESCRIPTION
GLITTERPRINT is a PU film (polyurethane) thermo-adhesive printable (200 µ) for textile transfer.
- Allows creating designs with a pearlescent, iridescent, and shiny effect
- The support or liner is a non-adhesive PET film (polyester)
- Manufactured in France by Chemica
THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND
- For small designs with many details, it may be convenient to use a transfer tape to facilitate the application of the vinyl. In such cases, it is recommended to use a high tack transfer tape
- After printing the vinyl with the ink, it should be left to dry. It can be transferred to the garment once the ink is dry to the touch
- Wait 24 hours before the first wash
PARAMETERS
- Cutting blade: 60º
- Temperature: 180 °C
- Pressure: 2.5 - 3.0 bar [medium pressure]
- Time: 20 seconds
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
- Print the design in direct mode
- Let the ink dry
- When the ink is dry to the touch, cut the vinyl with a plotter
- Remove the excess vinyl (weeding operation)
- Wait between 4 and 24 hours before applying the design to the garment, the recommended time for ink drying
- If using a transfer tape, adhere it to the vinyl starting from the centre outwards, avoiding wrinkles in the vinyl
- Heat the press to 180 ºC
- Place the garment on the press and pre-press for 4-5 seconds to remove wrinkles and moisture from the textile
- Place the vinyl on the garment
- Press with medium pressure for 20 seconds
- With the help of a protective glove, peel off hot the transfer tape
