DESCRIPTION

  • Suitable for creating 3D objects such as figures, sculptures, jewellery, decorative letters, names, plant pots...
  • 99% biodegradable. Made from biological sources, environmentally friendly. Produced from fibres and starches harvested in fields in the Valencian Community in Spain
  • Food-safe and suitable for packaging and toy production. Except for the black filament
  • Easy-to-print material with high performance, excellent layer adhesion, and mechanical strength with low shrinkage
  • Excellent adhesion prevents the visibility of layer overlap
  • Resistance to elasticity, impact, and shocks
  • Intense, bright colours with a silky finish, similar to silk or satin
  • Free from toxic elements, strong odours, or smoke
  • Packaged inside a cardboard box, shrink-wrapped with hygroscopic insulation to prevent moisture absorption

THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND

  • The pearlescent finish of the filament is only visible in the final 3D print result

TIPS AND ADVICE

  • Before each project, clean and disinfect the heated bed of filament residues, grease, dust, or hairsprays. In the Related Products, you will find the antibacterial spray cleaner specifically designed for printers and 3D parts (Ref. 040102)
  • Use 3D printing adhesive or hairspray to secure the first layers of filament on the heated bed and avoid the warping effect. Find it in the Related Products (Ref.040500)

USAGE RECOMMENDATION

  • Use a cooling fan during printing. It is important to turn it on after the first layers to avoid affecting adhesion

STORAGE AND PRESERVATION

  • Filaments tend to absorb moisture from the environment, leading to printing or finishing issues
  • Moisture degrades the filament causing extruder clogs and variations in its physical and mechanical properties
  • To keep the filament in good condition, proper storage and drying processes are important
  • The filament should be stored in airtight and preferably vacuum-sealed containers. Zip bags with silica gel balls, vacuum-sealed bags, or vacuum-sealed food containers can be used
  • Some techniques to remove moisture include:
    • Conventional methods such as drying in a domestic oven or a food dehydrator. At low temperatures and for long periods
    • Professional methods like filament dryers
  • If stored correctly and the packaging's seal is maintained, the product can be used for up to 24 months after supply
