DESCRIPTION

SUBLI-FLEX 202 is a high-stretch sublimation vinyl (270 gsm) for textile transfer on 100% cotton, denim and leather.

• Printable on its matte side
• It has an opaque white layer on which the inks are sublimated during the garment transfer process. This layer prevents the inks from getting lost on dark fabrics
• Comes with a liner
• The 25-metre roll has a Ø7.5 cm cardboard core
• You can give it a matte finish with protective paper Ref. 036247 which you can find in Related Products
• Made in Germany by Forever

THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND

• We recommend cutting the white unprinted edges of the vinyl because they will be visible on dark garments
• After printing the vinyl with sublimation ink, it should be left to dry. Transfer it to the garment once the ink is dry to the touch
• Print it using registration marks to cut it with a cutting machine

TRANSFER PARAMETERS

• Temperature: 180ºC
• Time:
  • 15 seconds (heat transfer)
    
  • 30 seconds (dye sublimation)
• Pressure: 5.0 bar [high pressure]

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

• Print the design in mirror image on vinyl
• Let the ink dry
  
• When the ink is dry to the touch, cut the edges of the design with a cutting machine or scissors
• Weed out your excess vinyl
• Preheat the press to 180ºC
• Pre-press the garment for 4-5 seconds to remove wrinkles and moisture from the fabric
• Place the vinyl with the printed side on the garment
• Cover the vinyl with 5-10 sheets of protective paper. This will prevent any bubbles
• Press for 15 seconds, high pressure
• Cool peel the liner
• Press again for 30 seconds with the same parameters

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR A MATTE FINISH

• Print the design in mirror image on the vinyl. Let the ink dry for 48-72 hours
• Cut the edges of the design with a cutting machine or scissors
• Weed out your excess vinyl
• Preheat the press to 180ºC
• Pre-press the garment for 4-5 seconds to remove wrinkles and moisture from the fabric
• Place the vinyl with the printed side on the garment
• Cover the vinyl with 5-10 sheets of protective paper. This will prevent any bubbles
• Press for 15 seconds, high pressure
• Cool peel the liner
• Place protective paper over the vinyl and press again for 30 seconds with the same parameters

WASH RESISTANCE

• Washing resistance: 40ºC max
• Do not use fabric softener or liquid detergent
• Air dry
• Can be ironed by covering the print with protective paper
