RECOMMENDED SUBLIMATION INSTRUCTIONS & PARAMETERS
Figures are guidelines only. Actual settings may vary with sublimation paper, inks, ambient temperature, etc. Always run tests first.
FLAT-BED HEAT PRESS
Prepare your artwork and print it in mirror mode
Preheat the press to 200 °C
A Nomex pad is recommended for this product
Place the Nomex pad on the lower platen, then lay a sheet of protective paper on top to avoid ink stains
Lay the printed design face up on the Nomex pad and position the panel face down in contact with the print
Secure with heat-resistant tape to prevent movement; optionally cover again with protective paper
Close the press and sublimate at 200 °C for 9 minutes under medium-high pressure
Open the press and remove the panel wearing a heat-resistant glove
3D OVEN WITH VACUUM MEMBRANE
Print the design in mirror mode
Preheat the 3D oven to 200 °C
Place the printed image face down on the white printable side of the panel and secure with heat-resistant tape
Insert the panel on the upper tray with the printable side facing up
Close the membrane, draw the vacuum and ensure no air bubbles remain over the surface
Close the oven and run the cycle for 7–8 minutes
Open the oven and, using a protective glove, remove the freshly printed panel
Carefully peel away the paper
