More information about the Nomex felt pad

  • Excellent for the sublimation of tiles, photo frames, trays, plates etc...
  • Allows better sublimation of porcelain or glass items.
  • Placed on the lower plate of the press, it helps heat to be evenly distributed.
  • Perfect for personalising items with irregular or bevelled edges.
  • Minimises wear and tear on the press' lower plate caused by the continuous placement of rigid items such as ceramic tiles or photo slates.
  • Approximately 30% of its thickness and sponginess may be lost during the first transfers. However, it is still appropriate for the recommended uses.

INSTRUCTIONS OF USE IN SUBLIMATION PRINTING

  • Place the pad on the press' lower plate.
  • Put the printed paper with the design on the pad.
  • Position the item on the paper so that its print area is in direct contact with the design.
  • It is recommended to place a Teflon sheet on the object to protect the press' upper plate.
  • Close the heat press and start the sublimation process according to the recommended temperature and time parameters for the item.
