DESCRIPTION

RECOMMENDED INSTRUCTIONS AND PARAMETERS FOR SUBLIMATION PRINTING

Parameters are given for guidance only. It is recommended to carry out preliminary tests in order to make the necessary adjustments before starting production.

WITH PLATE FOR CUPS/CYLINDRICAL OBJECTS

  • Print the design in mode mirror
  • Preheat the press to 180 °C
  • Place the paper with the printed side on top of the jar and fix it with thermal adhesive tape
  • Close the press with medium-high pressure for 150 seconds
  • With the help of a protective glove remove the freshly sublimated mug
  • Carefully peel off the paper

WITH A SUBLIMATION OVEN

  • Print the design in mode mirror
  • Preheat the press to 200 ºC
  • Place the printed design in mirror image around the stein and fix it using adhesive heat tape
  • Tighten the clamp, or place the mug in a heat shrink bag and heat with a heat gun to prevent wrinkles from forming. You can also use a silicone sheet
  • Sublimate in the oven for 8 minutes
  • With the help of a protective glove, remove the clamp, the silicone film or remove the bag, depending on the case
  • Carefully peel off the paper of the stein
