THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND

• The grain varies from one coaster to another due to the nature of bamboo wood
• Before sublimating, keep in mind that the natural grain of the coaster will blend with the image you wish to print, altering its tone. One way to minimise this effect is to choose dark-coloured designs

TIPS AND ADVICE

• Apply solid wax to the engraving to achieve a different metallic finish
• Protect the design from wear or provide a glossy finish by applying protective varnish to the wood

DIMENSIONS

RECOMMENDED SUBLIMATION INSTRUCTIONS AND PARAMETERS

Parameters indicated as guidelines. It is recommended to conduct preliminary tests to make necessary adjustments before starting production.

• Print the design in mirror mode
• Heat the press to 180 ºC
• Place the coaster on the base plate of the press and the printed side of the paper on top. Secure them with heat-resistant tape
• Close the press with medium pressure for 60 seconds
• Using a protective glove, remove the sublimated coaster
• Carefully remove the paper
