RECOMMENDED PRINTERS

It is recommended to use a Uninet laser printer (Ref. 038196)

TIPS AND ADVICE

  • The printable side is the opposite to the watermark side
  • Use a silicone sheet to distribute the heat evenly across the entire surface (Ref. 011713)
  • If applying to dark backgrounds, it is advisable to print the transfer paper with white toner to improve colour accuracy
  • Temperature accuracy is important, so it is recommended to use a temperature indicator (Ref. 033374)
  • If adhesive residue remains after application, you can clean it with isopropyl alcohol

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

WITH MUG PRESS

  • Print the design onto the transfer paper in mirror mode using the transparency or label option
  • Place the design onto the mug and secure it with heat-resistant tape. We recommend covering it with a silicone sheet to distribute the heat evenly
  • Open the press and insert the mug with the design
  • Close and press at 140 ºC with high pressure for 180 seconds
  • Open the press and cool the mug in a container with lukewarm water
  • Peel off slowly but evenly

WITH HEAT PRESS

  • Print the design onto the transfer paper in mirror mode using the transparency or label option
  • Heat the press to 200 ºC
  • Pre-heat the material if necessary
  • Place the item to be printed on the press and the Multi-Trans paper on top. Secure it with heat-resistant tape
  • Cover with a silicone sheet to ensure correct transfer
  • Place the temperature indicator between the transfer paper and the surface of the material
  • Close the press and when it reaches the temperature indicated in the table, open it and remove the paper as specified in the table below
  • For some materials, a post-pressing is recommended. Place the printed item in the press and press again without fully closing the press
