DESCRIPTION

REFLEX 495 is a reflective PU (polyurethane) film for textile transfer onto garments requiring high visibility and safety.

• Its reflective particles activate in dark environments when the vinyl is exposed to a light source
• Complies with EN ISO 20471 for the manufacture of high visibility garments
• Certified under EN 15614, EN 14116, EN 11612 and EN 469 certifications which make it fireproof
• The 10-metre rolls have a Ø7.5 cm cardboard core
• The liner is a self-adhesive PET (polyester) film that acts as a carrier
• Made in France by Chemica

THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND

• Wait at least 24 hours before the first wash

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

^(*) Prevents the colour of the textile from transferring to the vinyl during its application

TRANSFER PARAMETERS

• Knife blade: 45º
• Temperature: 160ºC
• Time:
  • 3 seconds (first pressing)
    
  • 15 seconds (second pressing)
• Pressure: 2.5 - 3.0 bar [medium pressure]

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

• Cut your design in mirror image with a cutter plotter
• Weed out your excess vinyl
• Preheat the press to 160ºC
• Place the garment on the press and pre-press for 4-5 seconds to remove wrinkles and moisture from the fabric
• Position the vinyl over the garment and cover with protective paper
• Press for 3 seconds, medium pressure
• Tibium peel the liner
• Press again for 15 seconds with the same parameters
