RECOMMENDED SUBLIMATION INSTRUCTIONS AND PARAMETERS

Parameters provided as a guideline. They may vary due to many factors such as the paper used, inks, or ambient temperature. For this reason, testing is recommended.

USING A MUG PRESS

  • Print the design in mirror mode
  • Heat the press to 200 ºC
  • Place the printed paper around the mug and secure it with heat-resistant tape
  • Close the press at medium pressure for 180 seconds
  • With the help of a protective glove, remove the freshly printed mug
  • Carefully remove the paper

USING A SUBLIMATION OVEN

  • Print the design in mirror mode
  • Heat the oven to 180 ºC
  • Place the printed paper around the mug and secure it with heat-resistant tape
  • Adjust the clamp, or place the mug inside a shrink bag and heat it with a heat gun, avoiding the formation of wrinkles. You can also use a silicone sheet
  • Place the mug in the oven for 13-15 minutes
  • With the help of a protective glove, remove the clamp, silicone sheet or bag, as appropriate
  • Carefully remove the paper from the mug
