Recommended instructions and parameters for sublimation printing
Parameters given as a guideline. They can vary due to many factors such as the paper used, the inks or the ambient temperature. For this reason, it is recommended to make tests.
WITH A CUP IRON
- Print the design in image mirror
- Preheat the press to 200 ºC
- Place the paper with the printed side on the mug and stick it to it with thermal adhesive tape
- Close the press at medium-high pressure for 310 seconds
- With the help of a protective glove, remove the newly printed mug to the newly printed side
- Carefully peel off the paper
WITH SUBLIMATION OVEN
- Print the design in mirror image
- Heat the sublimation oven to 180 ºC
- Place the printed part of the paper on the mug. Place the printed part of the envelope on the envelope, stick it with heat tape
- Place the clamp to sublimation oven
- Place the mug in the oven for 13-15 minutes
- At the end of the process, remove the mug with the help of a protective glove
- Carefully peel off the paper
