DESCRIPTION

• The bases allow you to achieve textured finishes and special effects on fabrics:
  • Texture: puff effect, high-density, and raised relief
  • Special visual effects: reflective, glitter and transparent, which reduces colour
• Easy to use. Mix with plastisol inks to obtain the desired texture or effect
• It does not air dry. It needs to be cured
• Excellent wash fastness
• Manufactured in Turkey in cooperation with Brildor

THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND

• It is important to mix the appropriate amount of base and ink to prevent the design from washing off or cracking when stretched
• It is recommended to use screens with normal thread mesh (T) and to apply the mixture with a V-shaped squeegee or lance (P5)

CURING RECOMMENDATIONS

• You can use a flash cure unit, an oven or a heat press. It is recommended to avoid using the press for textured bases as it may flatten them
• Place paper or teflon over the design. You will find it in Related Products
• Heat at 160ºC for 90 seconds

PUFF BASE APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS 040432 - REF. 040253)

• Mix the puff base as follows:
  
  • 40% Brildor Plastisol Puff Base
  • 30% Brildor Plastisol in the desired colour
  • 20% Brildor Plastisol Clear Base (Ref. 040437 - Ref. 040257)
• Use a 34T or 43T screen mesh (Ref. 944058 - Ref. 944045)
• Apply 2 coats, drying between each one at 160ºC for 15 seconds with a pre-dryer flash or tunnel
• In case you need thinner to reduce the viscosity of the mixture, you may use it in a ratio of < 1% (Ref. 040435 - Ref. 040255)
