DESCRIPTION
- Reduces laser reflection and scattering when the laser enters the crystal ball. Helps maintain laser focus and position the engraving inside with greater precision
- It also relieves the thermal stress generated during 3D engraving
- Reusable. Replace it when it loses transparency, shows bubbles or contains suspended dirt
- Environmentally friendly formula, suitable for disposal down the drain
PLEASE NOTE
- K9 glass is suitable for inner engraving. If you use a different type of ball, check that it is suitable for inner engraving and adjust its refractive index in xTool Studio. Avoid toughened, laminated or heavily tinted glass
- Choose clean, polished balls free from bubbles, veins or internal impurities that may affect the engraving
- Avoid getting water into the oil during engraving, as this can reduce the quality of the result
HOW TO ENGRAVE A CRYSTAL BALL?
- Wear gloves and clean the ball and the container to avoid fingerprints and traces of dirt that may affect the engraving
- Choose a container that is wider and taller than the ball. Place the ball inside and add oil until it is completely covered. The level should be about 2 mm above the ball. Wait until the bubbles disappear
- Install the inner engraving lens and the riser base of the xTool F2 Ultra UV
- Select the "Inner Engraving" mode and the spherical shape
- Untick "Use K9 Crystal Ball Inner Engraved Kit" and enter the dimensions and refractive index
- When engraving is complete, remove the ball and wash it with water and washing-up liquid
- Dry it with a soft cloth and keep the oil if it is still transparent
STORAGE AND USE RECOMMENDATIONS
- Do not ingest or inhale the oil. If it enters the respiratory tract, it can cause serious lung damage. If ingested, it may cause diarrhoea: seek immediate medical attention
- Avoid prolonged contact with the skin and with injured or ulcerated areas. Use it in a well-ventilated area
- Keep out of reach of children and away from heat sources and open flames
- Store the container tightly closed, in a cool, ventilated place, between 10-30 °C and with a relative humidity not exceeding 80 %
