-50 ~ 550 ºC (-58 ~ 1022 ºF)
Distance-to-spot ratio
12:1
Operating temperature
0-40 ºC (32-104 ºF)
Operating humidity
10-95% RH non-condensing, up to 30 ºC (86 ºF)
Response time
500 mSec (95% response)
Spectral response
8 - 14 um
Emissivity
0.1 - 1 (0.95 preset)
Power supply
3 V
Approximate battery life (alkaline)
12 hours
Storage temperature
-20 ~ 60 ºC (-4 ~ 140 ºF)
The thermometer has a distance-to-spot ratio of 12:1, meaning it measures an object with a diameter of 1" (approximately) when it is 12" away from it (2.5-30 cm)
SCREEN ICONS
HOLD: data hold
SCAN: scanning
MAX: maximum temperature measurement
MIN: minimum temperature measurement
EMS: emissivity. Adjustable between 0.1 and 1 with the ºC/ ºF key and the right button (triangle and bulb icon)
AT: ambient temperature
CAL: auto-calibration. Allows calibration between -5 ºC and 5 ºC. For example, if the temperature is 26.3 ºC and the average temperature value is 25 ºC, you should enter 1.3 ºC as the calibration value. After calibration, press the MODE key to return to measuring mode
Note: MAX and MIN values are measured from the last button press until the trigger is released
CONTROL PANEL
ºC/ºF: switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit, as well as the upward view for emissivity and auto-calibration
MODE: pressing it changes mode simultaneously between MAX-MIN-AT-EMS-CAL-MEASURING INTERFACE
Triangle and bulb icon: light location button and backlight activation. Can also be used to lower calibration
HOW TO USE IT?
Pull the trigger to turn on the thermometer
Aim at the object you wish to measure and pull the trigger. The temperature will appear on the screen
APPROXIMATE MEASUREMENTS
Thermometer gun (cm)
8.5 x 14.5 x 3.5
Packaging (cm)
9.2 x 16.5 x 4.5
Thermometer weight (g)
102
Gross weight (g)
170
RECOMMENDATIONS
Do not point the infrared thermometer at eyes or reflective surfaces
Cannot measure through transparent surfaces (glass or plastic). If aimed at them, it will measure their temperature, not the object behind
Steam, dust, smoke, or other similar particles can prevent accurate temperature measurement by obstructing the thermometer's optics
MAINTENANCE
Clean dirt from the lens with a damp cotton swab
Use a damp sponge and mild soap to clean the casing
Do not use solvent to clean plastic lenses and do not immerse the distance thermometer in water
