DESCRIPTION
Also useful as replacement parts for other clocks
Includes the mechanism housing, hanger, rubber washer, brass washer, hex nut and hands
The reverse side of the aluminium hands is silver-coloured
The second hand has a press-fit cap to secure all the hands to the movement
Supplied disassembled. Easy to install, no tools required
Batteries are not included with the mechanisms. You can purchase them in the Related Products section
POINTS TO CONSIDER
The hands of mechanisms Ref. 042226 and Ref. 042228 have special shapes. In all other mechanisms, the hands are straight
Mechanisms with white hands have a second hand of the same colour
The gear-shaped hands mechanism does not include a second hand (Ref. 042228)
The hanger and rubber washer are not included in mechanisms Ref. 054943 and 054945
Mechanisms with Ref. 045358 do not include a rubber washer or a brass washer
In mechanism Ref. 056339, the hanger is attached to the housing; it is not a separate piece
To prevent the mechanism's spindle from protruding from the front of the clock face, we suggest adding extra washers to the spindle before installation (see Related Products )
HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT MECHANISM WITH HANDS?
Calculate the maximum DIAMETER of the circle that fits on your clock face (this is straightforward for round faces, but may require measuring for other shapes). Please note that the mechanism diameters should not be larger than this. Choose the tab that best suits your needs
The THICKNESS of the panel you are using is important. The first number after the "E" indicates the length of the mechanism's spindle (in mm). It is recommended that this be at least 1 mm longer than the panel's thickness
Consider the diameter of the HOLE in the panel, which must be suitable for the spindle diameter, indicated by the second number after the "E" (also in mm)
Choose your preferred hand MATERIAL : aluminium, plastic, etc.
Consider the COLOUR of the hands based on the background image you will print on the panel, to ensure they contrast well and are clearly visible
