More information about plastisol adhesive and antimigration underbases
Manufactured in Turkey in cooperation with Brildor.
Use of the underbases with plastisol inks:
Foil adhesive: apply it as an underbase to transfer foil paper to a garment.
Flock adhesive: use it as an underbase to transfer flock to a garment.
Antimigration underbase: used to prevent colour migration from the fabric that could affect the design to be printed. Used frequently on polyester garments.
Ideal for printing dark and light garments such as polo shirts, sweatshirts, backpacks, caps, and bags.
Easy to use. Apply the underbases as a first layer directly onto the fabric. Each layer must be pre-dried and cured.
The bases are cured in an oven, which means that they won’t air dry. This removes the problem of the base drying on the screen and clogging the pores.
Perfect for long production runs with breaks or periods of inactivity.
It covers the fabric without impregnating it.
Excellent fastness to washing.
THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND
We recommend using a pre-drying machine to fix each layer to the fabric.
It is important to use an appropriate quantity of underbase in order to achieve a good result. This will prevent the design from coming off when washed or cracking when stretched.
It is recommended to wash the screens with solvent.
If you don’t have an oven, you can cure the base using a heat press. For textured bases, it is recommended to avoid using a press as it may flatten the textures with relief.
