RECOMMENDED INSTRUCTIONS AND PARAMETERS FOR SUBLIMATION PRINTING
Parameters indicated as for guidance only. It is recommended to carry out preliminary tests in order to make the necessary adjustments before starting production.
- Print the design in mode mirror
- Preheat the press to 200 ºC
- Place only 1 of the flaps on the lower platen (only the white part), leaving the rest of the wallet out of the press, especially the spine.
- Place the printed part of the paper on the flap. Secure it with thermal adhesive tape. Make sure the adhesive tape does not touch the skin of the wallet because you could tear it off when you peel it off
- Close the press at medium pressure for 30 seconds. When doing so, be sure to stretch the wallet away from the press so that the spine never comes into contact with the heat plate. This will prevent it from burning during the printing
- With the help of a protective glove, remove the wallet with the newly sublimated flap
- Carefully peel off the paper
- Repeat the process to sublimate the other one flap of the wallet
