DESCRIPTION

  • Thermo-adhesive. Fixable by heat using a heat press
  • Suitable for a vinyl cutter
  • Easy to apply: (1) cut the foil to the shape of the design and transfer it to the textile; (2) adhere the foil, flock or patch onto the applied adhesive
  • The 25 m roll has a Ø7.5 cm cardboard core
  • Made in Germany by Poli-Tape

  • Testing is recommended for water-repellent coated fabrics such as soft shell or similar

TRANSFER PARAMETERS

TURBO 4900

It can be applied at different temperatures:

  • Temperature - Time:
    • 130ºC - 5 seconds
    • 150ºC - 4 seconds
    • 160ºC - 3 seconds
  • Pressure: 2.5 - 3 bar [medium pressure]
  • Pre-pressing of the garment: 4-5 seconds
  • Hot peel

NYLON 701

  • Temperature: 145 - 155ºC
  • Pressure: 2 - 3 bar [medium pressure]
  • Time: 15 - 18 seconds
  • Pre-pressing of the garment: 4-5 seconds

 

 

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Instructions and parameters for guidance only. We recommend carrying out tests to establish the parameters that best suit the fabric used.

TURBO 4900

  • Cut the film with the design in mirror mode or to the size of the patch to adhere
  • Peel off the heat-adhesive film, discarding the transparent part that does not cover the design. This way, only the clear layer with the shape of the design will remain on the liner
  • Pre-press the garment for 3-4 seconds to remove wrinkles and dampness
  • Place the film on the garment where you want to apply the adhesive and cover it with protective paper
  • Press at 130ºC (5 seconds), 150ºC (4 seconds) or 160ºC (3 seconds), medium pressure
  • Hot peel the protective paper and liner
  • Place the foil, flock or patch on the hot melt foil applied on the garment. The foil should be placed with the coloured side facing upwards, while the flock with the velvet side facing downwards
  • Press at 130ºC (5 seconds), 150ºC (4 seconds) or 160ºC (3 seconds), medium pressure
  • If you have used foil or flock, cold peel it with a smooth and continuous movement

NYLON 701

  • Preheat the press to 145-155ºC
  • Cut the film with the design in mirror mode or to the size of the patch to be adhered
  • Peel off the heat-adhesive film, discarding the transparent part that does not cover the design. This way, only the clear layer with the shape of the design will remain on the liner
  • Pre-press the garment for 3-4 seconds to remove wrinkles and dampness
  • Place the film on the garment where you want to apply the adhesive and cover it with protective paper
  • Press for 15-18 seconds, medium pressure
  • Hot peel the protective paper and liner
  • Place the foil, flock or patch on the hot melt foil applied on the garment. The foil should be placed with the coloured side facing upwards, while the flock with the velvet side facing downwards
  • Press at 145-155ºC for 15-18 seconds, medium pressure
  • If you have used foil or flock, cold peel it with a smooth and continuous movement

 

 

WASH RESISTANCE

  • Wash at 60ºC maximum (TURBO 4900) and 40ºC maximum (Nylon 701)
  • Please follow the washing instructions for the fabric or garment used
