More information about the sublimation mould for military dog tags

  • Helps reduce production times and material losses.
  • Best suited for sublimation using a heat press.
  • Pressure-resistant brown wooden base. Very smooth surface, with glossy finish.
  • Aluminium base with 24 moulds in the form of a military ID tag.
  • Non-slip pad that will act as a shock absorber between the 2 bases, preventing any movement when applying pressure during thermal transfer.

  • For easier use, it is recommended to prepare the design you want to print using the following Multi-Tag Production Template (.eps -3,28Mb).

How to use the mould to sublimate military dog tags?

  • Print the design in mirror image. You can use an A4-size sheet if you want to print 21 tags or less.
  • Prepare the mould as follows: on the wooden base, place the pad with its black side facing down, and the aluminium base on top of it.
  • Insert the dog tags into the mould. Make sure that the holes in the tags are all facing the same direction.
  • Hold the paper's printed side against the mould. Attach with heat resistant tape to keep it from moving.
  • Preheat the press to 200ºC.
  • Place the mould on the press' lower plate.
  • Close the press at medium-heavy pressure for 60 seconds.
  • Using a protective glove, remove the mould with the newly printed tags from the press.
  • Carefully remove the paper from the mould.
