Launch of Cricut Explore™ 4 and Cricut Maker™ 4

Cricut has introduced its new models, the Cricut Explore™ 4 and Cricut Maker™ 4. These cutting plotters are an ideal choice. For those starting in the world of customisation, the Explore 4 is an excellent choice. However, if you need a more powerful and versatile machine, capable of cutting a wider variety of materials, the Maker 4 is the best alternative.

New Features and Improvements in Cricut Explore™ 4 and Cricut Maker™ 4

Twice as fast

The main improvement announced by Cricut is that both models are up to 2 times faster than their previous versions when used with a cutting mat. This means you can complete more projects in less time, increasing your productivity without compromising quality. For those who work in series or need to speed up the production process, this is undoubtedly a significant advantage.

For those who already own a Cricut Explore™ 3 or a Cricut Maker™ 3, it might not be an essential upgrade, as the main change is the cutting speed. However, for new users or those with older versions, this could be a great opportunity to upgrade to a faster and more efficient machine.

Compatibility with materials and up to 13 tools

Cricut Explore™ 4: cuts over 100 materials, including vinyl, cardstock, heat transfer materials, and adhesive paper. This offers great versatility for creators looking to customise everything from T-shirts to creative stationery.

Cricut Maker™ 4: compatible with over 300 materials, including fabric, leather, thin metal, and balsa wood. This model is designed for those seeking more advanced cutting options and the ability to work with thicker or more durable materials. Additionally, Cricut Maker™ 4 offers compatibility with up to 13 tools, allowing not only cutting but also engraving, scoring, writing... on a wide variety of surfaces. This makes it a more comprehensive option for projects requiring a higher level of customisation.

Modern design

Cricut has opted for a refreshed design, now available in Spain in these new colours:

• Cricut Explore™ 4: in blush ivory, an elegant and cutting-edge shade that adds a touch of sophistication and comfort to any workspace.
• Cricut Maker™ 4: in sage, a soft and calming colour that conveys balance and tranquillity, ideal for any creative setting.

Beyond the colours, the design continues to maintain the essence of previous models, with a refined and minimalist aesthetic that fits perfectly in any workshop or creative space.

Your familiar software with more materials to get started

Both cutting plotters include some basic materials and accessories so you can start creating right away. Additionally, both machines continue to operate with the free application Design Space™, the key software of the Cricut ecosystem, which allows you to design and send projects directly to the cutting plotter.

To assist new users, Cricut has introduced enhancements in Design Space™, such as a more prominent search bar, panels displaying similar or complementary images, and practical tips for better use of the layer panel tools.

Advanced options have also been added, such as an enhanced support for device connectivity, a more intuitive setup for viewing adult content, and improvements in the instructions for pre-designed projects.

Although we haven't seen many improvements beyond the increased speed, we are eager to test them to see if they truly represent a significant change compared to previous models.
